Instant trip: Limpapa

Location: Limpapa, Tip of Zamboanga, Northwest
Date: September 2010

Taken at the tipmost part of Zamboanga: LIMPAPA
I am not use to instant trips and surprises. I am more on planned visits and detailed type of person. But with this trip, I fall in love with the concept of spontaneity! Everything in this pictures is out of plan. And trips and adventures will be more enjoyable, fun and livelier if spend unplanned.

Happy Crazy Friends
Actually there is nothing special with the place really. Just the usual beach alongside the highway to Zamboanga del Norte (dead end west of Zamboanga like they said). It is not a resort, but a private beach lot property of the Bernardo's.

my fist time to have this kind of meal
But what made it more memorable is the happiness shared with my new friends at work.

salamat kay manong! may free boat ride kame!!!
We all just wanted to have fun and that is our common ground, but look, what our adventurous spontaneity had done, a never ending fun trip until the break of sunset.

Zamboanga City Dead End
Limpapa coastline
I did not actually expect that we will have our free boat ride along the boundaries of Zamboanga City and had the spectacular panoramic view of the Barangay Limpapa. I considered it as a thrilling ride right from the starting point actually because I was too afraid to go to the boat by the banca driven by this young child (in his teens) without any floating gear on hand (and luckily I was safely brought to the boat).

I envied my friends who knows how to swim and swimming that deep made it more exciting. (too bad I can not and will not attempt ever without the salbabida).

View on top of Zamboanga Memorial Gardens
Second stop is the Zamboanga Memorial Gardens at Pitogo, Barangay Sinunuc. It is a memorial park located on a hilly terrain overlooking the west coast of Zamboanga. This is the main reason why we visited the place, to witness this magnificent panoramic view (and not to visit Sta Theresa??? LOL).  And it is really timely because of the awesome sunset scene.

Sunset
Actually this site is not the usual memorial garden I visited, they have their newly constructed multipurpose pavilion, and in conjunction is their mini amusement slides and seesaws for kids. We were like frivolous childlike kindergartens having fun on the seesaw that time while someone is taking our pictures.

Last stop, Nor Alberto's Restaurant at Barangay Pasonanca. The fun does not end there. Now imagine from the tipwest of Zamboanga, Limpapa (about 42 kilometers away west of downtown city) to Pasonanca (8-9 kilometers north of downtown) our energy never waned. I love their green mango shake served here in Nor Albertos.
