Woodland Spree May2011

May 12, 2011.... 

Again, Spontaneity is the word. It is always nice to spend your leisure time with spontaneity. At first, we were still uncertain as to where to gala that night after morning duty. There were several suggestions raised until we move to some places beyond Zamboanga Peninsula. Until the end of the shift, we still haven’t decided yet regarding the final destination. But one thing is for sure and that is to wander around that night. and so that's it we ended up in Woodland Resort.

Woodland Resort is located about 8 kilometers from downtown Zamboanga and around 2 kilometers from the national highway. This resort is situated along the greenery scenery of Barangay Zambowood. It is a a resort, a ranch, and a restaurant. Coming here is way to easy, either you come here with your private car or there are several public vehicles that passby this resort. Entrance fee is also affordable amounting to Php45, good for site viewing and use of their pool that ends until 10pm.

It was passed 7pm when we arrived there, so we directly indulged into their two pools near the restaurant. The pool was clean and well lighted, the water temperature was just right and the depth was roughly around 7feet. There was also a pool for children, child a like and those who cant swim. A lifeguard is there beside the pool on guard until the pool closes, which is a must and a plus point for safety reason.

A separated dresser is provided for both sexes for change of clothes. Good supply of water and well tiled and lite pathways are added plus for the resort. I have also noticed that that were several speakers scattered in the resort and the music being played were all pleasant to the ear that made the place very romantic, perfect for date, private romance and moments.

The restaurant is just located near the swimming pool but because of the time, we did not have the chance to taste their proud delicacies.(Maybe next time) 

Overall, I will give an AAA+++ (triple A Triple plus) for the resort. It has a perfect location away from the buzzling city scenes and an escape from tiring workplace. It has a nice cemented pavement road to the resort, well lighted and safe which is a must!!! Truly, a place worth revisiting!!! See you next time Woodland!!!
