Bantoto's Siblings and Gramps July-Aug 2008

It took about 25 years to take this picture. A picture that is worth the wait. I am really thanking God for this very opportunity. This is a picture together with my two sisters and my Gramps Lola Nora. It was taken last Family Reunion 2008 in Dauin Negros Oriental. This is actually her first visit in the Philippines since 1984 when I was still living safe at the womb of my mom. Unforgettable, yes it is. And now, I kinda miss her and them. Im very excited that God gave the chance again to see them by next month August 2010. Watch out for the pictures!!!

Thalata Beach Resort

Thalata Beach Resort was new then, when we visited this resort last 2008. It is located near the main road, south of Negros, about 23 to 24 km from downtown Dumaguete City. Just like my previous post, this resort is easily spotted and there are a lot of PUJ that you can ride to this resort, just choose the south bound jeepneys and buses.

I forgot the entrance fee because it was my mother who paid it ( so what the heck anyway, i did not shed any buck LOL and I was too excited to dip in their pool). Unlike in Bahura Resort, this resort has only one pool located in the middle and it's depth was about 13 feet. (Thanks again to the salbabida that I can able to dip this deep).

One thing that I should mention is that this was the first pool that I had deep in with a salty taste. (I dont really taste the pool water, twas just an accident LOL) and you can not find shades while in the pool. I still remember that I got sunburns especially on my back. (but what the heck anyway, that's the essence of this trip)

On the food they served.. Ahmm.. I have some little issues though, just that they only offer french cuisine because accordingly the owner is a french. (But he is friendly because he gave us discounts especially to my youngster cousins) Maybe because I am not really into French style of cook, I dont know that after we left this resort, we immediately went to JOs 2 restaurant somewhere in Silliman Avenue and had our late lunch.
