You will really have a thrill feeling when you get to see your high school classmates again. It has been eight years now since we left the portals of our alma mater, Zamboanga National High School WEST. And now, I got to see again my former classmates. How did they age? Where are they now? What’s current with them? Are they more successful than me? Are they happy with their love lives? What will I wear? Do I look good? The first questions that pop into my mind when I got the invitation.
Then came the day, February 20, 2010. I was a bit hesitant to come because of the dreaded blackout and I was a little lazy that day. But then, I received several miscalls and SMS messages from my friends telling me that they are already there waiting. So I decided that I’ll just dropped by, say my his and hellos and poof, bye. And I had a prior commitment that I promised to attend so I couldn’t afford it break.
The Sponsors for the said event were Sherline and Farhaida. They both just arrived from Saudi Arabia. It was held at the Family Fried Chicken in Canelar. I was a bit a late like an hour more. Hahaha. So I arrived late with the appetizer. But there were few names that came in more late than me, when we already took our dinner. The event was attended by Sherline, Farhaida, Fadzralyn, Emmalyn, Claire, Geocarl and Mark Vincent. Then after we had our chitchats and the gracious sumptuous meal, we then proceeded to Catribo Complex for a Videoke. Thanks to Mark for the official ride we had that night from Golden Haven’s. I got home early around 10:30pm because still got work at night.
One noteworthy to mention incident was when Sariul arrived with all the preparations he did. We were actually joking that he came unprepared and as if, just woke up. We had some several pictures paste below. After the videoke mode session, some of my friends went home early while me, Julie, Arlan and Jaiton went on strolling with their motorcycles. We rome around metro Zamboanga – in Pasonanca Park, the Sta Maria, Canelar then eventually decided to have a drink at Alejandras. A very nice cup of cappuccino and sweet strawberry smoothies entices our stomach.
