Sealed it with a Kiss!!!!! Bandaranayaka Wedding 08/15/11

Date: August 15 2011
Venue: Holy Trinity Parish, RT Lim Boulevard, Zamboanga City
           Lantaka Hotel Roof Deck

Ruwan and Titit Nuptial
Its been an honor to attend and witness the exchange of vows of my former neighbor and childhood friend, Christy Genturales last August 15 2011, at the Holy Trinity Parish.  Rose red and cream wedding details channeled the event's motif. It also celebrated the blending of Japanese and Filipino culture as decorations, favors and giveaways manifested the best of these two cultures. Here are the details of her wedding day.

Gown.
It is a daunting task to choose which wedding gown and what design to choose to make you the most beautiful bride during your most precious wedding day. But the wedding gown use by the bride which was designed by Geronie Labora, did not fail us all. I was in total inlove with the gown and it made the bride look chic like mom said. It was a mixture of modern tube chic style with a touch of classy bolero on top that is accentuated by gold beads that really made it very elegant.

Footwear.
Heels have always been a fancy desire of every women and most especially it gets even too herculean task too search for the best shoes to use for your wedding day. The bride wore this sleek three inches red heels that complemented well with her wedding gown design. Im not quite sure if it gave her the needed comfy but the bride lasted the wedding ceremony until reception without complaining of any aches.

Ring.

The wedding ring is the most symbolic of your nuptial because it declares the eternal love that you have bowed together forever. It was a white gold engraved precious stones  design ring that was perfectly shot by Cworks Photography.

Bride.
Christy Genturales was a former beauty queen during her school days back in SDA Academy and she was absolutely beautiful in her white wedding gown designed by Geronie Labora . Kuku, the official make up artist during the wedding, mentioned that the beauty of Titit was really of that of Japanese decent and he made it effortless to make the bride stunning.  Her aura during her wedding says like its really her dream wedding with her dream boy. And I love how her bouquet and veil projected on the picture really a stunning shot by CWorks Photography and thanks to Budz and blooms for the arrangement.

Groom.
Ruwan Bandaranayaka was certainly in his most handsome form when he used his black tuxedos accentuated with a cream colored tie. This tux made him sleek and tall and even grandiose when he made his pose on one of the huts of Lantaka.

Church (Holy Trinity Parish)
An episcopal church (Holy Trinity Parish Church) located along the scenic sea front view of RT Lim Boulevard (just beside Brent Hospital and Colleges Incorporated) witness the exchange of vows of Christy and Ruwan which was officiated by Rev. Wylan Garcia. Accordingly, ever since Titit was still a little girl, she dreamed of marrying on this church and now that wish came true. They flew all the way from Japan just to fulfill this bride's childhood dream.

According to the coordinator, the couple focus more on expenses that would last for keep sake, so that means flowers and paraphernalias were just at the next priority. But it turned out that it look like the other story. The church was accentuated by these lovely white callalillys that it turned this old church to something vibrant and romantic. Searching for a perfect wedding flowers is such a daunting task. They represent the theme of your wedding, from fragrance to color, and from mood to style, and of course, to have a lasting impact on your most precious once in a lifetime pictures. But thanks to the coordinators they have tried squeezed the tight budget and never sacrificed the WOW factor that their guests will remember. Thank you to Budz and Blooms for this wonderful, lively and colorful flowers.

Reception (Lantaka Hotel Roof Deck)
The Reception area really look splendid. Truly the fame of Lantaka never waned off since I could ever remember. Actually, this is my first time in Lantaka Roof deck. I have always wanted to climb this hotel and witness what is above it. And when I actually checked the place out ( I actually came here first while the wedding ceremony is still going on at the parish to prepare the place), I fell in love with the panoramic view of the Zamboanga City waters and Sta. Cruz and Basilan Island scene. About 50 meters above, I love how the striking of sunset made effect to the seawater and made the reception area more serene and romantic. On the west coast of the view, is the buzzling Paseo del Mar where people started flock as the sun prepares to set. I also love the scene on the other side of the hotel facing the city, reveals the city's progress and the Muslim Mosque on the right side corner.

Inside the reception area, I love how the lights and curtains made the ceiling majestic. It seems like a huge flower on the center blooming above us like someone mentioned. I love their lighting superb. It really made the place cozy and romantic. I love their sound system as well. The area was well surrounded by soundbox that made the area sounded like a huge dance floor party.  Unlike in the previous weddings I have attended in which they still have to shed out some bucks for the rentals of the soundbox and musics, this place had it all in.

The Bride and the Groom seats located on the center aisle really looks good. Ibner creatively accentuated the seats with white and gold curtains highlighted by a head and backlight that made it stunning. And what made it even more romantic was the fresh red rose petals sprinkled all over the stage and balloons of red, yellow and gold on the backdrop. I couldn't fail to note this that even Titit's daughter Yumi excitedly played on the stage (infront of the guest) and amused with the accents that made Ibner burst. (LOL)

The more important scene during the wedding reception was the serenity dance with the Bride's uncle and the AVP presentation. It was one hell of a roller coaster of emotions. As the presentation was played over the white screen, all audiences got loud. All childhood pictures of the bride was presented (since she was carried by her mother, till she learns to walk, and school days). She was caught by surprise by the wedding coordinator as he unknowingly sneak out some old pictures from their stacks. Then, when Marry your Daughter was played over I couldn't help but notice Titit's outbursting emotions as some pictures included her father. She truly miss her dad but she knows that her father is happy for her during that day.

Wedding Cake and Giveaway.
The wedding cake during the Bandaranayaka Nuptials was created and designed by Cappricio Art Cake. The cake really looks pretty charming and yummy!!! This three layered cake was adorned by lovely red roses placed on the center of the round table. We were having troubles during the setup at first as it looks dull but thanks to Ibner it turned out even more enchanting as it was accentuated by colorful chopsticks made from Japan. And thanks to Cworks photography for this very impressive shots that left me in awe.

Adjacent to the cake is this magnificent piece. To tell you honestly, we really do not know how to arrange this chopsticks for the wedding but thanks to the ingenuity and creativity of Ibner, it made the wine and the glass pretty neat on the center.

Congratulations and Best Wishes Mr and Mrs Ruwan Bandaranayaka!!!
