Malatapay Tabo Market is located in the town of Zamboanguita. This will be part of your tour when you plan to visit the Apo Island as this is where the Malatapay wharf is located where people get outrigger boats to the island. It is a once-in-a-week market (every Wednesdays) where locals sell their produce and livestocks.
When we get there during Holy Thursday, of course it was deserted. This was actually not my first time to be in this place. I had experienced buying a piglet in this area for the upcoming town fiesta (Dauin) wayback before and I also brought some of my college friends here and had our lunch before proceeding to Bahura Resort nearby.
